Studio philosophy

Not copied. Created for you.

Every Morbid Chemistry project begins with an idea and becomes artwork created specifically for the client's body. Composition, contrast, color and placement are developed together so the finished tattoo feels intentional from every angle.

Specialties

Three ways of working

Each project is approached differently depending on subject, palette and placement.

Custom Anime Tattoos

Character work built from original illustration rather than copied panels. Line weight, color and framing are adapted so the piece reads clearly on skin and holds up over time.

  • Original character composition
  • Panel-free framing
  • Manga and full-color approaches

Color Realism

Saturated, depth-driven realism with careful attention to light, temperature and edge control so the subject stays believable as it heals.

  • Layered color depth
  • Light-led composition
  • Skin-tone conscious palettes

Black & Grey Realism

Contrast-first work in black and grey wash, built around structure and value so the piece stays legible from across a room and up close.

  • Value structure first
  • Smooth gradients
  • High long-term legibility

Pricing depends on size, placement, level of detail, color and estimated tattoo time. Every project is quoted individually after review — no fixed price list is published.

The process

From idea to healed piece

Five stages, each one designed to keep you informed before anything permanent happens.

  1. 01

    Submit Your Idea

Send your concept, subject, placement and approximate size through the tattoo request form with any references you have.

  2. 02

    Project Review

Each request is reviewed for fit, feasibility and placement. You'll hear back about whether the project can be taken on.

  3. 03

    Consultation & Deposit

We talk through composition, scale and scheduling. A non-refundable deposit reserves your session and starts design work.

  4. 04

    Design & Tattoo Session

Artwork is developed for your body, reviewed with you, then tattooed in a single session or across planned sessions.

  5. 05

    Aftercare & Healed Follow-Up

You leave with clear aftercare guidance, and healed photos are reviewed together so the piece can be refined if needed.

Fresh vs healed

Honest documentation

A fresh tattoo and a healed tattoo never look identical. Once real photography is supplied, this comparison will show the same piece at both stages — no filters, no substitutions.
